Lavender Bee

The majestic sentinel of the lavender field: a solitary bee, clad in shimmering coat of golden fur, poised like a tiny king on the throne of purple royalty.  Its delicate legs, no thicker than a thread, grasp the fragile stem with a gentle firmness, as if cradling the most precious jewel.
